“La Olla” or the “The Pot” was started to provide culturally sensitive family style meals for La Casa De Don Pedro’s early childhood educational programs. Stemming from that simple objective La Olla has grown to serve the needs of La Casa’s after school programs and the HIV Meals on Wheels program.
Recognized by the Yale University Social Entrepreneurial competition for it’s award winning business plan, La Olla has mastered the “recipe” for nutritional meals that satisfy the palate and meet the fiscal guidelines of U.S. and N.J. agricultural departments.
Today La Olla is poised to take on new clients outside of the La Casa de Don Pedro network.
