HOW ARE YOU CELEBRATING HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH?

Sept. 30, 2020 – With such a rich and diverse history, there’s so much to celebrate and honor every year during Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept.15-Oct.15). It’s important to recognize Latinx culture and the many contributions Latino Americans have made to society and to this great nation. La Casa de Don Pedro was founded on the principles of the great Pedro Albizu Campos, a Puerto Rican attorney, activist, and revolutionary who paved the way for organizations like ours to ‘Empower and Revitalize’ our communities. In that same spirit, we encourage all to research Don Pedro and so many other great Latino figures and traditions to find inspiration and gain an appreciation for the work ethic and passion synonymous with Latino culture.
