La Casa de Don Pedro has been a fixture in the Newark Community for the last four decades. During that time at least two generations have evolved and significant demographic changes have taken place. Yet La Casa de Don Pedro endures.

Its mission of self-sufficiency, empowerment and revitalization is still relevant. Its programs continue to meet the needs of constituents in the north end of Newark, and have expanded into the Lower Broad/ Lower Clinton/Lincoln Park communities, as well as throughout Newark, Essex County and beyond.
