Hundreds of people gave joy, spread love, and inspire hope, right here in the Greater Newark area, by supporting La Casa de Don Pedro’s #GivingTuesday™ Holiday Fundraiser.

#GivingTuesday marks the start of the End of Year giving season, when we spread holiday cheer to the people we serve by collecting monetary donations to strengthen our programs as well as food and toys to distribute to those who need it most in our community.

La Casa de Don Pedro set three Giving Tuesday goals: (1) raise $25,000 to support our programs and services by year’s end, (2) provide 1,000 holiday gifts to the hundreds of children we educate and support, and (3) distribute 500 grocery bags of fresh food to families in need. We are overjoyed to announce that we exceeded all of our expectations, thanks to our compassionate supporters.
