COVID-19 Update

Due to restrictions in place to limit person to person contact to keep our community safe, La Casa’s four special events were modified to a virtual format.

2020 Special Events Series Lineup

June 2020: LA CASA ES SU CASA, our annual cocktails and hors d’oeuvres reception that was transformed into a virtual celebration with an entirely handcrafted short film and digital magazine. Learn what we did here.

August 16 2020: FESTIVAL DE LA FAMILIA, CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19. Join us in 2021 for what we promise will be a bigger and brighter free family festival!

September 21-27 2020: BURGERS & BREW WEEK, a digital & interactive week where “attendees” experienced private virtual cooking shows from local chefs and grilling masters and are invited to patronize local restaurants and breweries for a prefix Burgers & Brew meal, which a portion of the proceeds will benefit La Casa’s COVID-19 Emergency Pandemic Relief Fund.

October 2020: NATIONAL LATINO AIDS AWARENESS DAY, an week of informative virtual activities held October 12-116. The sessions, all head on Zoom, covered topics on HIV including myths and misconceptions, its history, prevention methods, and how to share your status.
