ALBIZU’S ALLIES: LA CASA’S NEW VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE LOOKS TO GET MORE DONE WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS

(October 29, 2021) Albizu’s Allies, La Casa de Don Pedro’s new volunteer initiative, aims to recruit people with a passion for serving the community that believe in our mission to ‘Empower and Revitalize’. Named after La Casa’s namesake Don Pedro Albizu Campos, a Puerto Rican freedom fighter, volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with community cleanups, food distribution, program, campaign, and event outreach, graphic design, social media marketing, and much more. 

Although La Casa has a strong base of hardworking and skilled employees, there’s always room for more hands on deck to extend our reach in the community even further. Volunteers can expect to gain valuable experience as they perform fulfilling tasks that make an immediate impact in the lives of over 50,000 people per year.
