(May 28, 2021) When several La Casa supporters reached out to us looking for a way to volunteer now that COVID restrictions are being lifted, we decided it was a good time to organize a community cleanup day. Scheduled for June 12th from 9AM-3PM, volunteers will help with various tasks such as garbage pickup, raking, weeding, and painting at La Casa’s 202 First Street Early Childhood Center.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gardening tools and wear clothes that can get dirty, as we’ll be getting down in the weeds to help beautify several of our sites. See flyer below for details and RSVP via e-mail at info@lacasanwk.org by June 9th.
