With deep experience advocating for marginalized communities and mobilizing volunteers, Peter T. Rosario assumed the role as La Casa's first President & CEO in August 2021.  Peter is well poised to lead the organization, advance its vision, navigate the organization’s growth, maintain a high level of excellence, and continue to sustain La Casa’s relevance to the Greater Newark community.

Wendy Melendez is Vice President of Programs at La Casa de Don Pedro. Ms. Melendez has oversight over thirty programs that provide holistic support for more than 50,000 community members. A 30 year veteran of La Casa, She has oversight over Community and Economic Development, Community Improvement, Early Childhood Education and Development, Personal Development, and Youth, Family and Health Services.

Garfield Grant is Vice President of Finance and Administration.  Mr. Grant serves as a member of La Casa's executive leadership team. Mr. Grant has an extensive career as a non-profit executive leader with experience in finance, operations, IT, facilities management, human resources, and administration.  

Ivonne will lead the strategy on fundraising, communications, and marketing to amplify La Casa’s mission, bolster public support, and diversify revenue for the organization.
